This makes the truck non-compliant NFPA for this option. <br /> ENGINE COMPARTMENT LIGHT <br /> An engine compartment light will not be installed under the engine hood. <br /> NFPA 1901 2016 Edition 13.10.5.1, Each engine compartment and pump compartment will have <br /> a light of at least 20 candlepower(250 lumens). <br /> Per fire department specification and request the apparatus will not include an engine compartment <br /> light. This apparatus will be non-compliant to NFPA 1901 standards effective at time of contract <br /> execution. <br /> STORAGE CONSOLE <br /> There will be a console located between the front seats.The console will be constructed of smooth <br /> aluminum and painted black . <br /> EMERGENCY SWITCH PANEL <br /> The emergency switch panel will be provided in the cab, located on the floor mounted console. <br /> "DO NOT MOVE VEHICLE" INDICATOR <br /> A Do Not Move indicator located on the dashboard will flash AND a non-mutable audible warning <br /> piezo will sound upon the following events: <br /> • Any warning indicator listed below is active. <br /> • Key ignition switch is ON <br /> • The vehicle transmission is taken out of the PARK position. <br /> Safety alarm system will include audible and visual alerts for the following: <br /> • Compartment Doors Open Indicator(As Required) <br /> • Jacks/ Stabilizers Deployed Indicator(As Required) <br /> Bid#253 Page 7 Printed: 5/1 1/2026 <br />
