RESOLUTION NO. V2-(A — 193 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS WITH U.S. DEPARTMNET OF <br /> HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) FOR COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS (CDBG) AND HOME INVESTMENT <br /> PARTNERSHIP FUNDS (HOME) FY 2026 <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur desires to continue our partnership with the U.S. Department <br /> of Housing and Urban Developmnet (HUD) to bring funding to our community; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City has provided millions of dollars to low and moderate-income residents <br /> and expanded opportunities for these same residents; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council agree accepting these grants are in the best interests <br /> of the City of Decatur. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the allocation of $1,343,940.00 CDBG and $356,854.50 HOME funds as <br /> outlined in the FY 2026 Action Plan be, and the same are, hereby approved, adopted and placed <br /> on file. <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager or her designee be, and they are hereby authorized and <br /> directed to execute said agreements attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part thereof. <br /> Section 3.
