RESOLUTION NO. 82015-79 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS <br /> FOR MICRO SURFACING OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS <br /> BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE <br /> CITY PROJECT 2015-24 <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of$140,000.00 of Motor Fuel Tax <br /> funds for the purpose of micro surfacing streets and highways under the applicable provisions of <br /> the Illinois Highway Code. <br /> Section 2. That only those streets, highways; and operations as listed and described as <br /> part of the City's Micro Surfacing Project, are eligible for Motor Fuel Tax funds and shall be <br /> designated as Section 15-00524-00-SC. <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk shall, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as given <br /> above, submit to the Department of Transportation on forms furnished by said Department, a <br /> certified statement showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s) for this <br /> period; and <br /> Section 4. That the Clerk shall immediately transmit two certified copies of this resolution <br /> to the district office of the Department of Transportation, at Effingham, Illinois. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of Julie, 2015. <br /> ICHAEL T.
