Gleason, City Manager <br /> From: David T.Dickerson,Acting Chief of Police <br /> Subject: SunGard Public Sector-OSSI Annual Service Agreement <br /> PURPOSE: The purpose of this memorandum is to request the expenditure of funds to SunGard Public Sector <br /> for the OSSI annual service agreement. <br /> BACKGROUND: The City of Decatur signed an annual maintenance agreement with SunGard Public Sector <br /> on June 3`d, 2013 for the commencement date of June 1,2013 and expiring on May 31,2014.The SunGard <br /> Maintenance agreement provides service and maintenance to the baseline software indentified in Exhibit 1 of the <br /> software maintenance agreement. The contract now needs renewed for the periods covering June 1, 2015 <br /> through May 31, 2016. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: It would be the recommendation of staff that the Decatur Police Department pay <br /> SunGard Public Sector for the OSSI annual service agreement at the cost of$126,131.92 to be paid out as <br /> follows: $99,757.74 of the designated Communications line item, $3834.41 from the Decatur Fire Department, <br /> $19,727.03 from Macon County Sheriff's Office,per our inter-governmental agreement, and$2812.74 from the <br /> Village of Mt. Zion,also per our intergovernmental agreement. <br /> ATTACHMENTS: SunGard Public Sector Inc.
