RESOLUTION NO. R 2015-65 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WEED REMOVAL CONTRACT <br /> - JANDI SERVICES- <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur solicited bids to hire private contractors to <br /> provide weed removal and mowing services on lots owned by the Macon County <br /> Trustee which have been divided into 21 districts; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Districts 13, 14 and 18 were awarded to Jandi Services; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the services provided shall extend to December 31, 2016. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Decatur, Illinois is hereby, authorized and directed to <br /> make payment to Jandi Services, upon receipt of invoice for said weed removal at $50 <br /> per mowing in District 13, 14 and 18, for an estimated annual cost of Forty-Two <br /> Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($42,300.00) and a total two-year cost of <br /> approximately Eighty-Four Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($84,600.00). <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May 2015. <br /> wi j/If <br /> H EL T.
