RESOLUTION NO. R 2015-63 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WEED REMOVAL CONTRACT <br /> - PEGASO ENTERPRISES- <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur solicited bids to hire private contractors to <br /> provide weed removal and mowing services on lots owned by the Macon County <br /> Trustee which have been divided into 21 districts; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Districts 8, 10, 11, 17, 20 and 21 were awarded to Pegaso <br /> Enterprises, and, <br /> WHEREAS, the services provided shall extend to December 31, 2016. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Decatur, Illinois is hereby, authorized and directed to <br /> make payment to Pegaso Enterprises, upon receipt of invoice for said weed removal at <br /> $45 per mowing in Districts 8, 10, 11, 17, 20 and 21, for an estimated annual cost of <br /> Fifty-Six Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy Dollars ($56,970.00) and a total two-year <br /> cost of approximately One Hundred Thirteen Thousand Nine Hundred Forty Dollars <br /> ($113,940.00). <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May 2015. <br /> ICHAEL T. cELR� Y, AYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> OL� <br /> CITY CLER <br />
