Union <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Steve's <br /> Trucking, Inc. to remove asbestos, do necessary plumbing and demolish the property at 1054 N. <br /> Union. <br /> BACKGROUND: This is a court ordered demolition. Franklin D. Mathis is the owner of the <br /> property. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Neighborhood Services requested the demolition. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Wendy Morthland, Corporation Counsel, 424-2807. Billy Tyus, <br /> Assistant City Manager, 424-2727. Wendy and/or Billy will be at the council meeting to answer <br /> any questions the council may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $29,127.00 from Abandoned Properties Program Grant. <br />
