- MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING - <br /> Decatur Public Transit System <br /> A public hearing was held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in <br /> the Transit Administration Building, 555 E. Wood St., Decatur. The purpose of the public <br /> hearing was to receive public comment on the proposal to file a mass transit operating assistance <br /> grant application with the Federal Transit Administration(FTA). <br /> The notice of the hearing was published in the Decatur Tribune newspaper on February 11th <br /> Notices were also posted in the Senator Severns Transit Center, in the Transit Administration <br /> Building, in all of the Transit System's buses and paratransit vans, and on the Transit System's <br /> website. <br /> The hearing was opened at 11:00 a.m. by Paul McChancy, Mass Transit Administrator; the <br /> hearing was closed at 2:00 p.m. No one attended the hearing. <br /> The notices of the hearing also stated that written comments would be accepted by mail, by <br /> delivery, by FAX, and by e-mail until 5:00 p.m. on February 25th.
