HOLD HARMLESS and INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT Decatur Family YMCA , hereafter referred to as the "sponsoring agency", for itself, and its successors and assigns, agrees to indemnify and save the City of Decatur, Illinois, and the State of Illinois, their officers, agents, and employees harmless against any and all loss, damage, or expense that it or they may sustain as a result of any suits, actions, or claims of any character brought on account of property damage, injury to, or death of any person or persons, which may arise in connection with the use of City of Decatur property f a during and for the 2 Miles to Miles New Year's Eve Race event ` see attached map to be held at Decatur Family YMCA & surrounding areas , Decatur, Illinois, on December 31, 2014 during the hours of 12 p.m. - 5 p.m_ by the sponsoring Alternate Date 201S' agency, its officers, agents, emplo�a�a-rugrsurants. r Furthermore, the sponsoring agency agrees to provide the City of Decatur evidence of third party liability insurance coverage for the event in an amount not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence, and $2,000,000 aggregate, for property damage, and personal and bodily injury, including death. The City of Decatur, Illinois, and the State of Illinois must be named as I "additional insureds" on the policy for the duration of the event. Sponsoring agency's insurance will be primary. If a temporary liquor license is granted for this event, evidence of liquor liability insurance I coverage in an amount not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and aggregate must also be I provided. The City of Decatur, Illinois, must be named as an additional insured on all required policies, for the duration of.the Event. Sponsoring agency's insurance will be primary.
