The PAC product UAC-1-12OM from Thatcher Company of <br /> Montana, Inc. was determined to be able to remove 60% of the MIB and Geosmin at the lowest cost. <br /> The low bidder, Thatcher Company of Montana, Inc. for UAC-1-12OW was unable to achieve 60% <br /> removal at our requested maximum feed rate. The second low bid of Cal Pacific Carbon for PACarb Plus <br /> 700 exceeded the required specification<6% ash content. <br /> The low bidders meeting specifications have provided the City with the necessary bonding, NSF and <br /> AWWA certifications required for their chemicals. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Water Management requested the chemicals and also wrote the <br /> bid specifications.
