Abbott, Deputy Fire Chief <br /> SUBJECT: Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS) <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: The fire department recommends accepting the <br /> proposed changes to the MABAS agreement. This change seeks to clearly identify <br /> reimbursement policies as they apply to Mutual Aid. <br /> BACKGROUND: The City joined the MABAS on April 15, 2003 and has been a member <br /> since that time. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Jeff Abbott, Deputy Fire Chief, 424-2811. Jeff will be at the council <br /> meeting to answer any questions the council may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: None <br />
