Anderson Plaza <br /> Decatur, IL 62523 <br /> WHEREAS, on November 17, 2014 the City Council of the City of Decatur adopted <br /> Resolution No. R2014-135 authorizing a Real Estate Contract for Property Located in the 200- <br /> 400 Blocks of East King Street and East Central Avenue in the Wabash Crossing Area between <br /> the City and the Community Health Improvement Center("CHIC"); and, <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said Contract the City of Decatur agreed to sell a part of a <br /> sixteen foot alley located in Block 2 of J.K. Warren and Co's Fourth Addition as per Plat <br /> recorded in Book 93, Page 11 of the records in the Recorder's office of Macon County, Illinois <br /> more particularly described below, one of the conditions for which being that CHIC would <br /> maintain all utility easements within or relocate all utilities from said alleyway; and, <br /> WHEREAS, all applicable utility companies have approved of and certified that they <br /> have received payment for the removal of said utilities; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation, does hereby <br /> vacate to the City of Decatur a portion of the sixteen foot alley adjacent to Block Two (2) of J.K. <br /> Warren and Co.'s Fourth Addition, as per Plat recorded in Book 93, Page 11 of the records in the <br /> Recorder's office of Macon County, Illinois and title to said property is hereby vested in the City <br /> of Decatur. The permanent index number of the property acquiring title to said street vacated <br /> hereby is 04-12-11-353-014. Said vacated property is legally described as: <br /> A part of the sixteen foot alley located in Block 2 of J.K. Warren and Co's Fourth <br /> Addition as per Plat recorded in Book 93, Page 11 of the records in the Recorder's <br /> office Macon County, Illinois, said point more particularly described as follows: <br /> Beginning at a point, said point being the southeast corner of Lot 1 of said Block <br /> 2 of J.K. Warren and Co.'s Fourth Addition; thence southerly to the northeast <br /> corner of Lot 30 of said Block 2 of J.K. Warren and Co's Fourth Addition;thence <br /> westerly along the north line of Lots 30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23 and 22 of said <br /> Block 2 of J.K.
