25%Partial Advance/Remainder Reimbursement <br /> Upon execution of this Agreement, the Department shall authorize an initial disbursement in the <br /> amount of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total grant award. Future payments to the Grantee are <br /> subject to the Grantee's submission and certification of eligible costs incurred and any documentation <br /> as required by the Department. Payment shall be initiated upon the Department's approval of eligible <br /> costs and casts amount requested for reimbursement of those costs. <br /> Prior Incurred Costs <br /> Reimbursement of costs incurred prior to the beginning date as specified in the Notice of Grant Award <br /> will be allowed only if specifically provided for in the Scope of Work(Part II),as approved by the <br /> Department. If not clearly indentified in Scope of Work(Part Ii),any costs incurred prior to this <br /> Agreement will be disallowed. <br /> 4.4 GRANT SPECIFIC TERMS/CONDITIONS <br /> A. Projects Requiring External Sigma <br /> (1) Pursuant to applicable statute(s), this grant requires sign-off by the following State agency(ies). <br /> The status of the sign-off is indicated as of the date the grant is sent to the Grantee for <br /> execution: <br /> AGENCY SIGN-OFF SIGN-OFF <br /> RECEIVED OUTSTANDING <br /> Illinois Historic Preservation Agency <br /> Illinois Dept.of Agriculture <br /> Illinois Dept.of Natural Resources <br /> X NONE APPLICABLE <br /> While any external sign-off is outstanding, the provisions of Item 3) immediately below apply <br /> with respect to the disbursement of funds under this grant. <br /> NOTE: The fact that a sign-off has been received in no way relieves the Grantee of its <br /> obligation to comply with any conditions or requirements conveyed by the applicable <br /> agency(ies)in conjunction with the issuance of the sign-off for the project funded under this <br /> Agreement. <br /> (2) For projects subject to review by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, the Grantee must, <br /> prior to construction, obtain a construction permit or"authorization to construct" from the IEPA <br /> pursuant to the provisions of the Environmental Protection Act,415 ILCS 5/1 et seq. <br /> (3) External Sign-Off Provisions <br /> a) The Project described in Part II and funded under this Grant Agreement,is subject to review <br /> by the external agency(ies) indicated in Item 1) immediately above. Grantee must comply <br /> with requirements established by said agency(ies) relative to their respective reviews. Any <br /> requirements communicated to the Department shall be incorporated into this <br /> Agreement as follows: (i) as an attachment to this Agreement (immediately following <br /> this Part IV) at the time of grant execution; or (ii) if received from the applicable <br /> agency(ies)subsequent to execution,as an addendum to this Agreement. The Grantee is <br /> contractually obligated to comply with such requirements. <br /> b) Grantee is responsible for coordinating directly with the applicable external agency(ies) <br /> relative to said reviews.
