Maffit <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Don Roderick, <br /> Inc. to remove asbestos, do necessary plumbing and demolish the property at 1015 S. Maffit. <br /> BACKGROUND: This is a court ordered demolition. Herman Guy Jr. is the owner of the <br /> property. <br /> At this time, the successful bidder is not on the SAM (System for Award Management) list. This <br /> is a federal debar list used when federal funds are involved. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Neighborhood Services requested the demolition. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE Wendy Morthland, Corporation Counsel, 424-2807. Richelle Irons, <br /> Director of Neighborhood Services, 424-2864. Wendy and/or Richelle will be at the council <br /> meeting to answer any questions the council may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $21,862.00 from Community Development Block Grant. <br />
