Included in the recommendations is the selection of an independent professional claims administrator, loss prevention services and loss reporting services from a qualified public entity third party claims and loss control administrator. Gallagher Bassett is providing the service currently and is recommended because of its many years of experience with public entities and the favorable experience with the City. City Council awarded Gallagher Bassett a three-year contract on September 12, 2012 for the period October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2015 for a price increase of 1% for the first year and 2% for each of the next two (2) contract periods. Gallagher Bassett has proposed a contract for the period October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2018 for price increase of 2% for the first year, 1% the next and 2% for the last year. If acceptable to the City they would reduce the contact price for the period October 1, 2014 to September 30, 2015 from 2% to 1%. POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: None known. INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None.
