RESOLUTION NO. R2014-108 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS <br /> FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE AND STREET MAINTENANCE <br /> BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the additional sum of$355,492.00, of Motor <br /> Fuel Tax funds for the purpose of traffic signal maintenance, to provide concrete for street <br /> maintenance, guardrail replacement and purchase road salt for the City of Decatur, Illinois, from <br /> January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014. <br /> Section 2. That traffic signal maintenance, and operations as listed and described on the <br /> Municipal Estimate of Maintenance Costs, including supplemental or revised estimates approved in <br /> connection with this resolution, are eligible for maintenance with Motor Fuel Tax funds during the <br /> period as specified above. <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk shall, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as given <br /> above, submit to the Department of Transportation on forms furnished by said Department, a certified <br /> statement showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s) for this period; and <br /> Section 4.
