EXHIBIT "A" <br /> FUNDING RESOLUTION <br /> FAP Route 710 (Bus US 51) Job No. C-97-041-10 <br /> Section (48X-B-2) BR & (48BR) BR Agreement No. JN 714 006 <br /> CITY Section 14-00422-00-BR Contract No. 74438 <br /> County: Macon <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY OF DECATUR has entered into an AGREEMENT with the STATE <br /> OF ILLINOIS, for the improvement of approximately 0.211 mile of Bus US 51 (FAP Route 710, <br /> Section (48X-B-2) BR & (48BR) BR, CITY Section 14-00422-00-BR) in Decatur by replacing the <br /> bridge decks on the two structure carrying Bus US 51 over Lake Decatur. <br /> WHEREAS, in compliance with the aforementioned AGREEMENT, it is necessary for the <br /> CITY OF DECATUR to appropriate sufficient funds to pay its share of the said cost of the <br /> improvement <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that there is hereby appropriated the sum of <br /> FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND ($420,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, <br /> from any money now or hereafter allotted to the City of Decatur to pay its share of the cost of <br /> this improvement as provided in the AGREEMENT; and, <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the CITY of DECATUR will pay to the DEPARTMENT <br /> OF TRANSPORTATION of the STATE OF ILLINOIS from any funds allotted to the CITY the <br /> obligation incurred under this agreement in three annual installments. The first installment shall <br /> be 50% of the total obligation and shall not be due before January 1, 2015; the second <br /> installment shall be 25% of the total obligation and shall not be due before January 1, 2016. The <br /> third installment shall be an amount equal to the remaining obligation incurred under this <br /> agreement, including adjustments for overage and underage and shall not be due before <br /> January 1, 2017. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the CITY OF DECATUR agrees to pass a supplemental <br /> resolution to provide necessary funds for its share of the cost of this improvement if the amount <br /> appropriated herein proves to be insufficient to cover said cost. <br /> STATE OF ILLINOIS ) <br /> COUNTY OF MACON ) <br /> I, , Clerk in <br /> and for the CITY OF DECATUR , hereby certify the <br /> foregoing to be a true, perfect and complete copy of <br /> the resolution adopted by the Mayor and City <br /> Council at a meeting on 12014. <br /> IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set <br /> my seal this day of 2014. <br /> Roger L.
