Main St., which agrees with the drivers' statements that some
riders were going to or coming from the area northwest of downtown.
6.4% of the trips on weekdays, and only 2.4% on Saturday, began or ended on
Merchant St. (including its intersections with Prairie Ave. and E. Main St.).
The Trolley drivers reported that most of these riders got on or off at the north
and south ends of Merchant Street, and not in the middle of the block.
4.7% of the Downtown Trolley riders got on or off the Trolley at the Library.
4.2% of the Downtown Trolley riders got on or off the Trolley at the intersection of
North St. and Water St. The Trolley drivers reported that most of these riders
were students.
7.1% of the Downtown Trolley riders got on or off the Trolley at all other locations.
