ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TIME AND PLACE OF OPENING BIDS: Sealed proposals for the improvement described hereui will be received at the City Purchasing Division located on the first floor of the Civic Center, #1 Gary K. Anderson Plaza, Decatur, Illinois, 62523, until 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, Janne 25, 2014, and thereafter publicly opened and read. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The proposed improvement is officially known as: ANGLE CROSSING ROAD .IMPROVEMENT CITY PROJECT 2014-07 The City of Decatur is using Angle Crossing Road to access the City's dredge sediment basin. Under an agreement with the Oakley Township, the City is improving a 2.29 mile section of Angle Crossing Road west of Macon County Highway 25, with a Class A-2 bituminous surface treatment in accordance with the plans and specifications provided herein. The work will also include grading, shaping and a bituminous surface treatment to the gravel portion of Angle Crossing between Stare Road and the entrance to the City's dredge sediment basin site located approximately 2 miles west of County Highway 25.
