Division <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Steve's Trucking, <br /> Inc. to remove asbestos, do necessary plumbing and demolish the property at 646 E. Division. <br /> BACKGROUND: This is a court ordered demolition. Quinton Chaney is the owner of the <br /> property. <br /> At this time, the successful bidder is not on the SAM (System for Award Management) list. This <br /> is a federal debar list used when federal funds are involved. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Neighborhood Services requested the demolition. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Billy Tyus, Assistant City Manager for Development Services, 424- <br /> 2727. Wendy Morthland, Corporation Counsel, 424-2807. Richelle Irons, Director of <br /> Neighborhood Services, 424-2864. Sean Gadberry, Neighborhood Inspections Administrator, <br /> 424-2794. Billy and/or Richelle will be at the council meeting to answer any questions the <br /> council may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $33,640.00 from Community Development Block Grant. <br />
