Sweeney,Lieutenant Administrative Operations 0 <br /> Subject: Motorola System/Service Upgrade Agreement <br /> PURPOSE: The purpose of this memorandum is to request the expenditure of funds to Motorola Solutions,Inc., <br /> for the annual Motorola System/Service Upgrade Agreement. <br /> BACKGROUND: The City of Decatur signed an annual system and service upgrade agreement with Motorola <br /> Solutions on December 27,2013,for the commencement date of January 1,2014,and expiring on December 31, <br /> 2019. The Motorola System/Service Upgrade agreement provides the system owner(City of Decatur)with the <br /> software, hardware, and implementation services required to execute system infrastructure upgrades. Payment <br /> for the contract year,January 1,2014 through December 31,2014, is now due. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: It would be the recommendation of staff that the Decatur Police Department pay <br /> Motorola Solutions for the system/service upgrade agreement at the cost of$23,600.04 to be paid out of the <br /> designated communications budget account. <br /> ATTACIFIMENTS: Motorola Solutions system/service upgrades agreement statement of work. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None Anticipated <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Todd A.
