oIg <br /> HARMLESS and INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT <br /> Rodney T. Miller Lakeside Triathlon, hereafter referred to as the "sponsoring agency", <br /> for itself, and its successors and assigns, agrees to indemnify and save the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, its officers, agents, and employees harmless against any and all loss, <br /> damage, or expense that it or they may sustain as a result of any suits, actions, or <br /> claims of any character brought on account of property damage, injury to, or death of <br /> any person or persons, which may arise in connection with the use of City of Decatur <br /> property, Nelson Park, for the Rodney T. Miller Lakeside Triathlon on the following <br /> dates: <br /> Saturday, July 12, 2014 and Sunday, July 13, 2014 <br /> by the sponsoring agency, its officers, agents, employees, and registrants. <br /> Furthermore, the sponsoring agency agrees to provide the City of Decatur evidence of <br /> third party liability insurance coverage for the event in an amount not less than <br /> $1,000,000 per occurrence, and $2,000,000 aggregate, for property damage, and <br /> personal and bodily injury, including death. <br /> If a temporary liquor license is granted for this event, evidence of liquor liability <br /> insurance coverage in an amount not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and <br /> aggregate must also be provided. The City of Decatur, Illinois, must be named as <br /> additional insured on both policies for the duration of the Event.
