RESOLUTION NO. 82014-49 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS FOR <br /> LAKE SHORE DRIVE & 22D STREET (IL RTE 105) IMPROVEMENT <br /> FROM OLD RTE 51 TO RTE 36 <br /> BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE <br /> CITY PROJECT 2014-01 <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of$120,000.00, of Motor Fuel Tax <br /> funds for the purpose paying the City's portion of improvements to Lake Shore Drive and 22nd <br /> Street(IL Rte 105)to include paving side street approaches, installing curb ramps on side streets, <br /> and completing traffic signal improvements under the applicable provisions of the Illinois Highway <br /> Code. <br /> Section 2. That only those streets, highways; and operations as listed and described as part <br /> of the City's Lake Shore Drive &22nd Street(IL Rte 105) Improvement from Old Rte 51 to Rte 36 <br /> Project, are eligible for Motor Fuel Tax funds and shall be designated as Section 14-00401-00-TL. <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk shall, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as given <br /> above, submit to the Department of Transportation on forms furnished by said Department, a <br /> certified statement showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s) for this <br /> period; and <br /> Section 4. That the Clerk shall immediately transmit two certified copies of this resolution <br /> to the district office of the Department of Transportation, at Effingham, Illinois. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 19th day ofMay;2014. <br /> i <br /> IC AEL T.
