1(a)1q - q1 <br /> HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT <br /> St. John's Lutheran Church, hereafter referred to as the "sponsoring agency", for itself, <br /> and its successors and assigns, agrees to indemnify and save the city of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, its officers, agents, and employees harmless against any and all loss, damage, <br /> or expense that it or they may sustain as a result of any suits, actions, or claims of any <br /> character brought on account of property damage, injury to, or death of any person or <br /> persons, which may arise in connection with the use of City of Decatur property, see <br /> attached Exhibit A, for the Project Purple St. John's 5K and 2K Walk/Fun Run on the <br /> following date and time: <br /> Saturday, June 7, 2014 9:00 a.m. — 11:00 a.m. <br /> by the sponsoring agency, its officers, agents, employees, and registrants. <br /> Furthermore, the sponsoring agency agrees to provide the City of Decatur evidence of <br /> third party, liability insurance coverage for the event in an amount not less than <br /> $1,000,000.00 per occurrence, and $2,000,000 aggregate, for property damage, and <br /> personal and bodily injury, including death. <br /> If a temporary liquor license is granted for this event, evidence of liquor liability <br /> insurance coverage in an amount not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and <br /> aggregate must also be provided. The city of Decatur, Illinois, must be named as <br /> additional insured on both policies for the duration of the event.
