BEAN COUNT`/C!ERK N1ACOoN COUNT'r ORDINANCE NO. 2015-31 ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY - 3314 North Westlawn Ave - WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Jack& Linda Meeks requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: Commencing at a point 315.09 feet South of the Northwest corner of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 33, Township 17 North Range 2 East of the 3`d P.M.,thence East 293.61 feet, thence South 130 feet; thence West 293.61 feet,thence North 130 feet to the place of beginning Situated in Macon County, Illinois. Commonly known as 3314 North Westlawn Avenue, Decatur, Illinois Permanent Index Number 07-07-33-301-004. WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and by at least 51% of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality, and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the ame are hereby, approved. Section 2.
