BEAN <br /> COUNT`/C!ERK N1ACOoN COUNT'r <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2015-31 <br /> ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY <br /> - 3314 North Westlawn Ave - <br /> WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to <br /> the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Jack& Linda Meeks requesting that there be <br /> annexed to the City territory described as: <br /> Commencing at a point 315.09 feet South of the Northwest corner of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 33, <br /> Township 17 North Range 2 East of the 3`d P.M.,thence East 293.61 feet, thence South 130 feet; thence <br /> West 293.61 feet,thence North 130 feet to the place of beginning Situated in Macon County, Illinois. <br /> Commonly known as 3314 North Westlawn Avenue, Decatur, Illinois <br /> Permanent Index Number 07-07-33-301-004. <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land <br /> within such territory and by at least 51% of the electors residing therein, and that said <br /> territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or <br /> incorporated town or other municipality, and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as <br /> required. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1.
