Illinois S.S. by Mary A. i` ton, Recorder Book: 4420 Page: 201 Receipt 68009 Recording Fee: 440.00 Pages Recorded: 3 Authorized By FEB 2 6 2015 Date Recorded: 2/26,12015 3:44:06 PM ORDINANCE NO. 2015-05 ORDINANCE VACATING PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY -400 BLOCK RIDGE AVENUE- WHEREAS, a request has been received from Tony Williamson, requesting the vacation by the City Council of public right-of-way in the City of Decatur, Illinois legally described as: Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot 43 of Lake Park Addition as per plat recorded in Book 536,Page 105 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois;thence Easterly 60 feet to the East Right-of-Way line of Ridge Avenue;thence Southerly along said East Right-of-Way line a distance of 35 feet;thence Westerly 60 feet to the Easterly line of said Lot 43; thence Northerly 35 feet to the point of beginning;and, WHEREAS, said public right-of-way is no longer useful to the public or to the City or to the owner of the property abutting thereon as public right-of way; and, WHEREAS, the public interest will be subserved by vacating said public right-of-way and the public will be relieved from the further burden and responsibility of maintaining the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO CIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: Section 1. That upon the condition set forth below, the above de�cribed public right-of- way be, and the same is hereby, vacated inasmuch as the same is no longer required for public use and the public interest will be subserved by such vacation, said put lie right-of-way being shown on the plat thereof hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof.
