I <br /> ORDINANCE NO. gni s—o3 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 7 — OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES GENEgALLY- <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Section 2 of Chapter 7 of the City Code of the City of Decatur be, <br /> and the same is hereby, amended and modified, so that as so amended and modified <br /> said Section 2 of Chapter 7 shall provide as follows: <br /> 2. APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL. The City Manager shall have <br /> the power and authority to appoint and remove at will the Assistant City <br /> Managers, all directors of departments, all deputy and assistant <br /> department directors, fire marshals, battalion chiefs, police personnel <br /> above the rank of sergeant, division managers, administrativ secretaries, <br /> executive assistant, members of the Legal Departmert, Personnel <br /> Specialists, Training Officer, Human Rights Officer, Systems <br /> Administrator, Senior Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst,I Budget and <br /> Revenue Officer, Risk Management Assistant, Water Customer Service <br /> Manager, Street and Sewer Maintenance Supervisor, Civil Engineer I, <br /> Civil Engineer II, Assistant City Engineer, GIS Specialist, Fleet Supervisor, <br /> Water Production Maintenance Supervisor, Water Production Operations <br /> Supervisor, Engineering Services Coordinator, Supervisor of Technical <br /> Services, CAD System Coordinator, Police Records Supervisor, Water <br /> Distribution Supervisor, Water Metering Supervisor, Trafficand Parking <br /> Supervisor, City Forester, Foreman, Economic Development Officer, <br /> Building Inspections Manager, Senior Planner, Planners, Planning and <br /> Development Manager, Senior Crime Analyst, Crime Analyst, Emergency <br /> Communications Manager, Emergency Communications Supervisors, <br /> Neighborhood Inspections Administrator, Neighborhood Programs <br /> Manager, Neighborhood Program Specialist, Enterprise Zone <br /> Administrator, and temporary and seasonal employees. <br /> Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to <br /> cause the provisions hereof to be appropriately set out in the City Code and to cause <br /> the same to be published in pamphlet form according to law. <br />
