<br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE
<br /> - CHAPTER 7 — OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES GENEMLLY-
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,
<br /> ILLINOIS:
<br /> Section 1. That Section 2 of Chapter 7 of the City Code of the City of Decatur be,
<br /> and the same is hereby, amended and modified, so that as so amended and modified
<br /> said Section 2 of Chapter 7 shall provide as follows:
<br /> 2. APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL. The City Manager shall have
<br /> the power and authority to appoint and remove at will the Assistant City
<br /> Managers, all directors of departments, all deputy and assistant
<br /> department directors, fire marshals, battalion chiefs, police personnel
<br /> above the rank of sergeant, division managers, administrative secretaries,
<br /> members of the Legal Department, Personnel Specialists, Training Officer,
<br /> Human Rights Officer, Systems Administrator, Senior Systems Analyst,
<br /> Systems Analyst, Budget and Revenue Officer, Risk Management
<br /> Assistant, Water Customer Service Manager, Street and Sewer
<br /> Maintenance Supervisor, Civil Engineer I, Civil Engineer II, GIS Specialist,
<br /> Fleet Supervisor, Water Production Maintenance Supervisor, Water
<br /> Production Operations Supervisor, Engineering Services Coordinator,
<br /> Supervisor of Technical Services, CAD System Coordinator, Police
<br /> Records Supervisor, Water Distribution Supervisor, Traffic and Parking
<br /> Supervisor, City Forester, Foreman, Economic Development Officer,
<br /> Building Inspections Manager, Senior Planner, Planners, Planning and
<br /> Development Manager, Senior Crime Analyst, Crime Analyst, Emergency
<br /> Communications Manager, Emergency Communications Supervisors,
<br /> Neighborhood Inspections Administrator, Neighborhood Program
<br /> Specialist, Enterprise Zone Administrator, and temporary and seasonal
<br /> employees.
<br /> Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to
<br /> cause the provisions hereof to be appropriately set out in the City ode and to cause
<br /> the same to be published in pamphlet form according to law.
