EXHIBIT `B" ORDINANCE NO. 2014-43 ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE F SANITARY SEWAGE AND INDUSTRIAL WASTE WA R INTO STORM SEWERS OR DRAINAGE FACILITIES CONS UCTED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE BUSINESS ROUTE US 51 OVER LAKE DECATUR WHEREAS, the CITY OF DECATUR has entered into an AGREE NT with the STATE OF ILLINOIS, for the improvement of approximately 0.211 milof Business US 51 (FAP Route 710, Section (48X-B-2) BR& (48BR) BR, CITY Section 14.00422-00-BR) in Decatur by replacing the bridge decks on the two structures carrying Business Route US 51 over Lake Decatur; and, WHEREAS, this improvement includes the construction of storm sealers and/or appurtenances for highway drainage; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to C�onnect, or cause to be connected, any drain carrying or to carry any toilet, sink, basement, septic tank, cesspool, industrial waste or any fixture or device discharging polluting substances �nto any storm sewers constructed as part of this improvement. Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating this ordinance sh 1 o1 be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) r each offense, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed for each and every day uring which a violation continues or exists. Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in effect from and after its pas age, approval and publication as provided by law. Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit three (3) ertified copies of this Ordinance to the Illinois Department of Transportation through its Di rict Engineer's Office at Effingham, Illinois.
