EXHIBIT `B" <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE OF <br /> SANITARY SEWAGE AND INDUSTRIAL WASTE WA7 ER INTO <br /> STORM SEWERS OR DRAINAGE FACILITIES CONS7 RUCTED <br /> IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE BUSINESS ROUTE US 51 OVER LAKE DECATUR <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY OF DECATUR has entered into an AGREEI ENT with the <br /> STATE OF ILLINOIS, for the improvement of approximately 0.211 mil of Business US 51 <br /> (FAP Route 710, Section(48X-B-2) BR& (48BR)BR, CITY Section 100422-00-BR) in <br /> Decatur by replacing the bridge decks on the two structures carrying Business Route US 51 <br /> over Lake Decatur; and, <br /> WHEREAS, this improvement includes the construction of storm sewers and/or <br /> appurtenances for highway drainage; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to �onnect, or cause to <br /> be connected, any drain carrying or to carry any toilet, sink, basement, setic tank, cesspool, <br /> industrial waste or any fixture or device discharging polluting substances ' to any storm <br /> sewers constructed as part of this improvement. <br /> Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating this ordinance sall be fined not less <br /> than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense, <br /> and a separate offense shall be deemed committed for each and every day during which a <br /> violation continues or exists. <br /> Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in effect from and after its passage, approval and <br /> publication as provided by law. <br /> Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit three(3) certified copies of <br /> this Ordinance to the Illinois Department of Transportation through its Dtrict Engineer's <br /> Office at Effingham, Illinois. <br />
