27. STORMWATER UTILITY AND STORMWATER FUND <br /> (A) ESTABLISHMENT OF A STORMWATER UTILITY AND A <br /> STORMWATER FUND: <br /> 1. A stormwater utility is hereby established. the purpose of the <br /> stormwater utility shall be to provide for the management, protection, <br /> control regulation, use and enhancement of the stomiwaters stems and <br /> facilities owned or operated by the City. <br /> 2. The management and supervision of the stouftater utility shall be <br /> under the direction of the Public Works Director. <br /> 3. A Stormwater Fund is hereby established.j Revenues of the <br /> stormwater utility deposited into the Stormwater Fund shall be used for <br /> purposes of the stormwater utility. Expenditures may include stormwater <br /> system construction, repair, maintenance, improveme6ts education and <br /> related items associated therewith including but not firrited to capital debt <br /> retirement including interest engineering, legal costs and other qpproLnate <br /> administrative charges. <br /> (B) SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE STORMWATER UTILITY: <br /> The stormwater utility shall be responsible for the operation maintenance <br /> management and improvement of the stormwater system wned by the city <br /> including all activities rpquired by the NPDES stormwater pa t. <br />
