ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY - 1643 SOUTH SHORES DRIVE - s 0 0 WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and Oy said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Breft Scroggins requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: A part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section Twenty- Five (25), Township Sixteen (16) North, Range Two (2) East of the 3rd P.M. in Macon County, Illinois, described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast Corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 25, thence North 89° 52" 40' West 40 feet along the South line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 2 to an iron pin on the West right-of-way line of S.A. Route 31 (South Shore Drive) as recorded in Book 745, Page 225 of the Records in the Recorders Office of Macon County, Illinois; thence North 10 18" 11' East 219.95 fee along the West right-of-way line of said S.A. Route 31 to an iron pin at t e point of beginning; thence North 880 41" 49' West 290.00 feet to an iron in, thence North 10 18" 11' East 180.00 feet to an iron pin; thence South 380 41" 49' East 271.97 feet to the West right-of-way line of said S.A. Route 31; thence Southerly along the West right-of-way line of said S.A. Route 31 o the point of beginning. Situated in Macon County, Illinois. Commonly kno n as 1643 South Shores Drive, Decatur, IL; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners f record of all land within such territory and by at least 51% of the electors residing th rein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate lirr its of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS:
