OCCUPIED PETITION FOR ANNEXATION TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: The undersigned, under oath, respectfully represent as follows: 1. That they are the owners of record of all the territory herein described. 2. That at least 51% of the electors who reside on the territory herein des ibed have signed and do join in the petition. 3. That the territory herein described is not within the corporate limits of a y municipality. 4. That the territory herein described is contiguous to the City of Decatur, municipal corporation. 5. That the petitioner request that the City of Decatur, a municipal corp ration, annex the following described property: A part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section Twenty-five (25), Township Sixteen (16) North, Range Two (2) East of the 3`d P.M. in Macon County, Illinois, described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast Corner of the Northwest Quarter of the outhwest Quarter of said Section 25, thence North 89 degrees 52 minutes 40 seconds W st 40 feet along the South line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Sectio 25 to an iron pin on the West right-of-way line of S.A. Route 31 (South Shores Drive) as recor ed in Book 745, Page 225 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; thence North 1 degree 18 minutes 11 seconds East 219.95 feet along the West right-of-way line of said S.A. Route 31 to an iron pin at the point of beginning; thence North 88 degrees 41 mi utes 49 seconds West 290.00 feet to an iron pin; thence North 1 degree 18 minutes 11 s conds East 180.00 feet to an iron pin; thence South 88 degrees 41 minutes 49 seconds Eas 271.97 feet to the West right-of-way line of said S.A.
