LONG CREEK FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, Petitioner, s a duly organized Fire Protection District under the laws of the State of Illinois, located entirely in Macon County. 2. The City of Decatur, Illinois, Defendant, is a municipal corpor ition, duly organized under the laws of the State of Illinois and is located in Macon County, Illinois. 3. The City of Decatur, Illinois, by action of its Council, passed Ordinance No. 2013-88, annexing into the corporate boundaries of the City of Decatur, the following described real estate, to ,vit: The North 448.6 feet of the East '/2 of the West '/2 of the Southwest 1/4 f the Northeast '/4 of Section 30, Township 16 North, Range 3 East of the 3`d P.M. Situated in Macon County, Illinois. Commonly known as 3300 East Cherry Drive, Decatur, Illinois 62521. PIN #09-13-30-252-004. 4. The LONG CREEK FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT objects to said annexation and the disconnection of the above-described real estate from its territory because such disconnection may cause the territory remaining in the District to be nonconti auous and that the loss of assessed valuation by reason of such disconnection will impair the ability of the District to render fully adequate fire protection service to the territory remaining within the District.
