Book : 4342 Page : 477 ORDINANCE NO. 2013-87 ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY - 3223 REA'S BRIDGE COURT - WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and Dy said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Dennis G. Jacobs and Sharon Sue Jacobs requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: Lot Three (3) of Rea's Hilltop Addition, as per Plat recorded in Book 300 Page 392 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, EXCEPT the South 15 feet of Lot Three (3), ALSO beginning at a point on the East line of Lot Three (3), 15 feet North of the Southeast Corner of Lot Three (3), thence West along a line 15 feet Nortof and parallel with the South line of Lot Three (3), a distance of 4.65 feet thence Northeasterly 15.82 feet to a point on the East line of Lot Three ( ) that is thirty (30) feet North of the Southeast Corner of Lot Three (3); thence South along the East Line of Lot Three (3), 15 feet to the point of beginning as deeded to Macon County in Book 2207, Pae 792. Permanent Index Number 18-08-33-328-011; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and by at least 51% of the electors residing th rein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate lim s of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has Deen given as required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved.
