t11 co 01 ORDINANCE NO. 2013-83 m ro CL ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY - 2617 EAST MOUND ROAD - �c 0 WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Robert L. Sumner requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: A part of the Northeast '/4 of Section 36, Township 17 North, Ra ge 2 East of the 3rd P.M., which part is more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 530 feet West of the Northeast corner of said Section 36 and proceeding thence West 66.25 feet, thence South 3:30.38 feet, thence East 66.25 feet and thence North 330.38 feet tote point of beginning. Situated in Macon County, Illinois. PIN 07-07-36-226-007. WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and by at least 51% of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation h s been given as required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved. Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore a nexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the I mits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 3. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached iereto and hereby made a part hereof.
