SECTION FOUR: JUSTIFICATION <br /> 1. The land use is in accordance with a proposed amendment to the revi ed Comprehensive <br /> Plan. <br /> 2. This Amendment varies from the existing PD by changing the building size and <br /> configuration <br /> 3. The proposed Amendment will construct 36 parking stalls more than he use requires, this <br /> is keeping with the original P.D. <br /> 4. The approval of this P.D. Amendment will allow the continued development of the site <br /> consistent with the City of Decatur's original goals for this site: <br /> a. To develop the site at Mound and Rt 51 into a quality retail/co mmercial site. <br /> b. To bring new jobs to the Decatur area. <br /> c. To provide new sales tax revenues to the City. <br /> d. To increase property values in the City of Decatur. <br />
