m <br /> U7 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2013-79 <br /> m <br /> m <br /> a ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING EXCEPTIONS TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> - NO FRONTAGE ON A PUBLIC STREET- <br /> -NO DIRECT ACCESS TO A PUBLIC STREET- <br /> - 2200 BLOCK OF SOUTH TAYLOR ROAD— <br /> Y <br /> WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of October, 2013, upon due notice, the Decatur City <br /> Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the request of Charles A. & Sidney E. <br /> Shonkwiler, requesting exceptions to the Zoning Ordinance to allow no frontage on a <br /> public street or no direct access to a public street located in the 2200 Block of South <br /> Taylor Road located in the R-1 Single Family Residence District, and described as <br /> follows: <br /> Lot 2 of Lawncrest Addition, as per Plat recorded in Book 1832, Page 284 of the <br /> Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois: and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that said request be <br /> granted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That upon the condition set forth below, the above described Premises be, and <br /> the same are hereby, as is defined in Exhibit A, be allowed to have no frontage on a public street <br /> or no direct access to a public street: <br /> a. Prior to the approval and release of the Final Plat, language shall be required on both the <br /> Owner's Declaration and the Final Plat to ensure the construction of a oadway/driveway <br /> to access Lot Two (2) subject to the requirements of Section XXIV.
