ORDINANCE NO. 2013-77 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 7 — OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES GENERALLY - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Section 2 of Chapter 7 of the City Code of the City of <br /> Decatur be, and the same is hereby, amended and modified, so that as so <br /> amended and modified said Section 2 of Chapter 7 shall provide as ollows: <br /> 2. APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL. The City Manager shall have <br /> the power and authority to appoint and remove at will the As istant City <br /> Managers, all directors of departments, all deputy and assistant <br /> department directors, fire marshals, battalion chiefs, police personnel <br /> above the rank of sergeant, division managers, administrative ecretaries, <br /> members of the Legal Department, Personnel Specialists, Trai ing Officer, <br /> Human Rights Officer, Systems Administrator, Senior Syste s Analyst, <br /> Systems Analyst, Auditor, Risk Management Assistant, Wate Customer <br /> Service Manager, Street and Sewer Maintenance Supe isor, Civil <br /> Engineer I, Civil Engineer ll, Fleet Supervisor, Water Production <br /> Maintenance Supervisor, Water Production Operations upervisor, <br /> Supervisor of Technical Services, CAD System Coordinator, aintenance <br /> Supervisor, Traffic and Parking Supervisor, City Forester, Foreman, <br /> Economic Development Officer, Building Inspections Mana er, Senior <br /> Planner, Planners, Planning and Development Manager, S nior Crime <br /> Analyst, Crime Analyst, Emergency Communications Manager, <br /> Emergency Communications Supervisors, Neighborhood Inspections <br /> Administrator, Neighborhood Program Specialist, Enter rise Zone <br /> Administrator, and temporary and seasonal employees. <br /> Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and <br /> directed to cause the provisions hereof to be appropriately set out n the City Code <br /> and to cause the same to be published in pamphlet form according to law. <br />
