Map crack' g over large area of pipe. <br /> The Lake Shore Drive sewer rehabilitation design employs trenchless constniction methods that <br /> include lining manholes and installing a cured-in-place lining the length of the sewer. There are <br /> two major lining options recommended in the design. <br /> Option 1. Spiral Wound Pipe Liner: This option is applicable to large diameter pipes that <br /> are over 48" in diameter and involves inserting a lining consisting of steel <br /> reinforced PVC strips, similar in appearance to a large continuous strip of vinyl <br /> siding (see Figure 7 below). The spiral strips are connected tc gether to form a <br /> new pipe surface (Figure 8).
