Swartz, City Clerk <br /> SUBJECT: Liquor Consumption / Public Right of Way <br /> DATE: March 11, 2013 <br /> The City Council is asked to approve the attached ordinance allowing the <br /> consumption of alcohol on public right-of-way Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. — <br /> 9:00 p.m. on East North Street between Water Street and State Street and East William <br /> Street between Water Street and State Street for the International Broadcaster Idea <br /> Bank Convention. <br /> Attached is a copy of the request from Chris Bullock, Regional Manager/General <br /> Manager, Cromwell Group Inc. of Illinois and a copy of Chief Walker's Memorandum <br /> regarding the street closing. <br /> If you have any questions or comments, please do not he itate to contact a <br /> member of city staff. <br /> Attachment <br />
