The subject site is approximately 140 acres and is located in the 2800 (Block of North Brush <br /> College Road and the 2200 Block North 27`" Street. <br /> 2. Properties to the south and east were approved for rezoning to M-2 HeavIndustrial District by <br /> the City Council in July 2012. <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> 1. The petitioner proposes to rezone from M-1 Intense Commercial/Light Industrial District to M-2 <br /> Heavy Industrial District. ADM is rezoning to create a universal zonings classification between <br /> ADM owned properties. <br /> STAFF ANALYSIS <br /> 1. The surrounding zoning includes M-1 Intense Commercial/Light Industrial District and M-2 <br /> Heavy Industrial District to the north and west, M-I Intense Commercial/ 'ight Industrial District, <br /> M-2 Heavy Industrial District and R-3 Single Family Residence District to the south, and M-2 <br /> Heavy Industrial District and R-3 Single Family Residence District to the east. The Macon <br /> County and Decatur Comprehensive Plan shows this area as Employment. The proposed use is <br /> compatible with adjacent uses to the north, southeast, east and west. <br />
