Clay <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Steve's <br /> Trucking to remove asbestos if required, do necessary plumbing and demolish the property at <br /> 1845 E. Clay. <br /> BACKGROUND. This is a court ordered demolition. The unknown 4eirs, devisees and <br /> legatees of Nelda Majors (deceased), and/or James Woods are the owner(s) of the property. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Neighborhood Services requested the demolition. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Billy Tyus, Assistant City Manager for Development Services, 424- <br /> 2727. Sean Gadberry, Neighborhood Inspections Administrator, 424-2794. Billy and/or Sean <br /> will be at the council meeting to answer any questions the council may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $20,985 from the Demolition Fund. <br />
