FY 2013 SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT entered this 16th day of September, 2013 by and between the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois (herein called the "City") and the Coalition of Neighborhood Organizations <br /> (CONO) (herein called the "Subrecipients"). <br /> WHEREAS, the City wishes to engage the Subrecipient to assist the City in utilizing such funds <br /> in accordance with City, State and Federal guidelines and regulations; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed between the parties hereto that; <br /> I. STATEMENT OF WORK: <br /> A. Activities: <br /> The Subrecipient will be responsible for administering activities for the FY2013 <br /> program year in a manner satisfactory to the City and consistent with any standards <br /> required as a condition of providing these funds. Such programs will include the <br /> following eligible activities: <br /> Activity#I <br /> Provide grants of up to $300 for neighborhood groups to assist with neighborhood <br /> activities, improvements and promoting the neighborhood organization. <br /> Activity#2 <br /> Hold monthly organizational meetings of neighborhood organizations; to promote, <br /> develop and assist neighborhood groups with activities, and continue CONO <br /> activities and initiatives; Goal: 15 separate organizations represented. <br /> Activity#3 <br /> Neighborhood leaders will attend Regional Neighborhood Network Conference to <br /> highlight successes taking place in our city as well as learn from other participating <br /> cities what is working. The goal is to bring back ideas and implement projects on <br /> how we can improve our neighborhoods; Goal: 20 participants. <br /> General Administration <br /> The CONO Executive Board will be responsible for monthly reporting activities and <br /> issuing grants to assist neighborhood groups with literacy, neighborhood building <br /> and/or life skill activities. A written report should accompany each monthly report to <br /> include detail information gathered about expenditures, meeting attendance, grants, <br /> and activities. <br /> Subrecipient Agreement(Rev. 9/16/13) Page 1 of 15 <br />
