Initial Scoping Meeting with Agencies: $10,000-$15,000 <br /> The initial scoping process involves a series of meetings with all appropriate agencies,similar to the meeting we <br /> had with the USACE Rock Island District. Tasks include: <br /> a. Meet with agencies to determine permitting concerns,design alternatives, and identify the need, if any, of <br /> special studies <br /> I. U.S.Army Corps of Engineers(USACE) f <br /> ii. Illinois Department of Natural Resources Office of Water Resources (IDNR-OWR) <br /> iii. Illinois Environmental Protection Agency(ILEPA) <br /> III. Process Applications: $10,000-$50,000+ (depending on studies required by agencies) <br /> The processing of applications can vary widely depending on the requirements of the agencies, and includes the j <br /> following steps and potential studies: <br /> a. Modify Report per agency comments(if needed) <br /> b. Prepare and submit applications <br /> c. Prepare special studies, if requested <br /> d. Process requests, as needed,from agencies <br /> e. Modify design and report per agencies(if needed)to obtain permits <br /> Required special studies may include, but not limited to the following: <br /> I. Floodway/floodplain studies <br /> ii. Water Quality Certification needs <br /> iii. Threatened and Endangered Species studies (i.e.freshwater mussels, Indiana Bat, etc.) <br /> iv. Wetland delineation <br /> v. Shoreline improvements/fill analyses <br /> vi. Historic/architectural studies <br /> vii. Hydrographic survey <br /> viii. Detailed Land and Boundary Survey <br /> ix. Title work <br /> x. Soil Borings <br /> A. Soil Testing(check for presence or absence of environmental contamination) <br /> xii. Other <br /> I <br />
