ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TIME AND PLACE OF OPENING BIDS: Sealed proposals for the improvement described herein will be received at the City Purchasing ' Division located on the first floor of the Civic Center, #1 Gary K. Anderson Plaza, Decatur, Illinois 62523, until 10:00 A.M. local time, June 21, 2013, and thereafter be publicly opened and read. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The proposed improvement is officially known as: LAKE SHORE DRIVE SEWER REHABILITATION CITY PROJECT 2012-06 L17-4873 This project shall be bid as three separate Divisions of work, generally described as follows: DIVISION A: Rehabilitation of 5,758 feet of sewers in sizes 84", 72" and 54" in diameter with the associated manholes and structures. DIVISION B: Rehabilitation of 6,428 feet of sewers in sizes 48", 39", 36", 33", 27" and 24" in diameter with the associated manholes and structures. DIVISION C: Rehabilitation of 11,072 feet of sewers in sizes 36" and 30" in diameter with the associated manholes and structures. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS: 1. Payment shall be made to Decatur Blue Print, Inc. 230 W. Wood Street, Decatur, Illinois in the amount of $85.00, by BANK CASHIER'S CHECK, BANK DRAFT, CERTIFIED CHECK or COMPANY CHECK made payable to the order of Decatur Blue Print, Inc.
