- MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING - <br /> Decatur Public Transit System <br /> A public hearing was held on Thursday, May 30, 2013, from Noon to 2:00 p.m., in the Transit <br /> Administration Building, 555 E. Wood St., Decatur. The purpose of the public hearing was to <br /> receive public comment on the proposal to file a Capital Assistance Grant Application with the <br /> Illinois Department of Transportation for the purchase of buses and bus passenger shelters. <br /> The notice of the hearing was published in the Decatur Tribune newspaper on May 15th. Notices <br /> were also posted in the Senator Severns Transit Center, in the Transit Administration Building, <br /> in all of the Transit System's buses and paratransit vans, and on the Transit System's website. <br /> The hearing was opened at Noon by Paul McChancy, Mass Transit Administrator; the hearing <br /> was closed at 2:00 p.m. No one attended the hearing. <br /> The notices of the hearing also stated that written comments would be accepted by mail, by <br /> delivery, by FAX, and by e-mail until 5:00 p.m. on May 30th.
