RESOLUTION NO. 82013-58 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR CONCRETE PAVEMENT RECONSTRUCTION L & A INDUSTRIAL DRIVE PHASE 2 CITY PROJECT 2012-11 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the tabulation of bids received for City Project 2012-11, Concrete Pavement Reconstruction, L & A Industrial Drive Phase 2 project be, and they are hereby, received and placed on file. Section 2. That the bid of Feutz Contractors, Inc.,be accepted and a contract awarded accordingly and that said contract between Feutz Contractors, Inc. and the City of Decatur be, and it is hereby modified, so that as modified, said contract authorizes a Contingency in an amount not to exceed $31,157 for a total contract amount from the City's allotment of Motor Fuel Tax funds, not to exceed $350,000. Section 3. That the changes in the above-described contract are germane to said contract, as signed, and such changes are in the best interest of the City of Decatur and are authorized by law. Section 4. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract between the City of Decatur, Illinois, and Feutz Contractors, Inc., for said plan for their bid price of$318,843 plus contingencies in the amount of$31,157 for a total not to exceed cost of$350,000 from the City's allotment of Motor Fuel Tax funds.
