Section 5. That the closure and detour shall be marked according to the Illinois <br /> Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. <br /> Section 6. That the City of Decatur hereby agrees to provide IDOT with a <br /> Certificate of Insurance, assume all liabilities, and pay all claims for any damage which <br /> shall be occasioned by the closing described above and to hold harmless the State of <br /> Illinois from all claims arising from the road closings. <br /> Section 7. That the Chief of Police shall submit a community event road closing <br /> request to IDOT approximately ten (10) days prior to said closure, along with a <br /> description of the parade and detour routes, and that all emergency agencies be notified <br /> of the proposed road closure. <br /> Section 8. That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to IDOT to serve as <br /> authorization for the Chief of Police to request highway closures for said community <br /> events. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 20th d I <br /> of y, 20 <br /> MI .
