The PAC product Hydrodarco M from Norit Americas Inc. was <br /> determined to be able to remove 60% of the MIB and Geosmin at the lowest cost. <br /> The low bidder, Carbon Activated Corp. was unable to achieve 60% removal at our requested maximum <br /> feed rate of 20mg/L. <br /> The low bidders meeting specifications have provided the City with the necessary bonding, NSF and <br /> AWWA certificationsrequired for their chemicals. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Water Management requested the chemicals and also wrote the <br /> bid specifications.
